William Edmondson speeds ahead to North Island karting championship win

Year 10 Macleans College student William Edmondson (Kupe House) has claimed the 2025 KartSport New Zealand North Island Championship in the Rotax Max Junior class.
The event, held in Tokoroa over Labour Weekend, brought together 26 skilled competitors from across the region.
This latest success follows William’s earlier achievement this year, when he won the 2025 KartSport New Zealand National Schools Championship.
