Teacher strike action - Wednesday 5 November

Dear parents and caregivers,

The PPTA has informed us of their planned strike action on Wednesday 5 November - 1.15 pm - 3.15 pm.  The Macleans College Board have been advised by the PPTA that member teachers are refusing to teach students during that time. We have sufficient non-PPTA member teachers to provide some classes.

Years 9 and 10 students will remain at school, to be supervised in study classes.  

Year 11 students will leave school at 12.20 pm - however, if there is inadequate supervision at home, they are able to study in our library.

Cambridge and NCEA examinations will continue as normal.

School resumes as normal for Year 9, 10 and 11 students at 8.30 am on Thursday 6 November.
