Macleans College students raise funds to support UNICEF’s global work

Over two Saturdays last month, more than 80 students from the Macleans College UNICEF extra-curricular group participated in a bucket collection in Howick.
The initiative aimed to raise awareness and collect donations to support children in need around the world. UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund, is committed to protecting the rights and well-being of every child, regardless of their background.
Funds raised will go towards providing essential resources such as nutritious food, clean water, educational supplies and medical aid to children globally.
The Macleans College students raised nearly $800, all of which will be donated to UNICEF. Special thanks to Mrs Heeney for her time, commitment and leadership and to all who contributed and supported the cause.
