From classroom to catwalk: students attend New Zealand Fashion Show

Three Year 13 Macleans College Textiles students, accompanied by their teacher Mrs Winn, attended the New Zealand Fashion Show, securing prime seats at this prestigious event.

The tickets were generously provided by Massey University, giving the group a valuable opportunity to witness the country’s emerging design talent.

The show featured graduating collections from leading fashion programmes across three universities. Top students presented their work, showcasing originality, craftsmanship and innovation.

Held every two years, the event is recognised as a milestone on the national fashion calendar. It offers young designers a platform to display their creativity while setting a benchmark for professional standards in the industry.

For the Macleans College students, the experience was both inspiring and educational, offering insight into the possibilities within fashion design.
