Pride and teamwork at Special Olympics Football Tournament

Macleans College Learning Support students recently participated in the Special Olympics 5-a-side Football Tournament at Ellerslie Football Club.
The team played four matches against strong competition, showing determination and teamwork throughout. They scored goals in every game, including a confident 5-1 win, and continued to perform with effort and resilience in closely contested games that followed.
A group of Year 11 Macleans College students assisted with refereeing, scoring and supporting the event - which involved seven schools from across Auckland.
All participants represented the school with pride and made the most of the opportunity to develop new skills and friendships.
