Macleans College fencers showcase talent at North U15 and Cadet competition

Four Macleans College students participated in the North U15 and Cadet Fencing competition, held on Sunday 16 March.
Year 13 student Matt Wang (Mansfield House) officiated as one of the referees, as well as former student Alex McGuire-Barnes (Te Kanawa 2015 - 2019).
In the Men’s U15 and U17 Sabre events, Harry Zhou (Upham) earned second place. Eddie Yao (Kupe) and Aayush Nagpal (Hillary) also competed in the Men’s and Mixed U15 Sabre, marking their first time representing Macleans College at the competition.
In the Men’s U17 Foil Larry Lin (Batten) secured second place. This event also marked the season’s debut for Maxwell Chen (Upham) and Stacy Chong (Snell), who both competed in the Men’s U17 Foil category.
