Celebrating talent and dedication: Learning Support students take the stage
Posted on November 27, 2025
Excitement and creativity filled the air last week as the Macleans College Learning Support boys took to the stage for a music, drama and dance showcase.
Parents and staff were treated to a lively celebration of the students’ talents and teamwork, highlighting a term of dedication and hard work.
The performance marked the culmination of a term of rehearsals. Students collaborated with Ms Xie in music and with Miss Olivier in dance and drama, supported by teacher aides Miss Collins and Mrs Yus.
Their dance to Jingle Bell Rock featured a personalised soundtrack, with each student adding his own voice-over, creating a unique and memorable performance.
At the final school assembly, each student received a certificate recognising their consistent demonstration of the Macleans College values. Their conscientiousness, reliability, respect and perseverance - both in the classroom and around the school - were celebrated. The awards provided a fitting way to honour their dedication and positive contributions throughout the year.
