The Macleans College Performing Arts faculty introduced a revised format for its end-of-year events with a mini Eisteddfod presented in the Colin Prentice Auditorium.  Three showcases were held from 24 - 26 November.

The first event on Monday 24 November, featured Year 9-11 instrumental students.  Performances included the Sinfonietta directed by Mrs Joanne Johnston and the Symphonic Band directed by Daniel Hulley (Batten House).

Tuesday’s programme highlighted Year 9-11 vocal students.  The Spring Singers and Aria Junior performed alongside two Year 11 bands from the Contemporary Music course, 11MCO.

The final showcase celebrated premier dance talent from Years 9-11 and concluded with a drama production presenting a reimagined adaptation of Alice in Wonderland.

The three-day event series offered a fitting end to the year, with near-capacity audiences acknowledging the dedication and achievement of the participating students.
