Te Tai o Rēhia – the East Auckland Kapa Haka Festival

We’re delighted to share that Te Tai o Rēhia – the East Auckland Kapa Haka Festival will be hosted by Macleans College on Rāpare, te 16 o Oketopa (Thursday 16 October) in the Sports Dome (Upham House entrance).

This special event celebrates the talent and pride of our kura ā-rohe (local schools) through the power of kapa haka. The pōwhiri will begin at 11.00 am, with Macleans College taking the stage at approximately 12.20 pm.

All members of our hapori whānui are warmly invited to attend and join us in celebrating te reo Māori me ōna tikanga through waiata, haka, and kotahitanga.
