Bronze medal awarded at North Island Middle Schools Ethics Olympiad

Two teams of students from Macleans College recently participated in the North Island Middle Schools Ethics Olympiad competition.

During this full-day event, students engaged in discussions considering the ethical implications of world-wide political and social events.

The Macleans College team of Senith Ranawaka (Upham House), Stephanie Lin (Rutherford), Bianca Hu (Mansfield), Ayan Shah (Upham) and Mila Sutch (Hillary) worked exceptionally well together throughout the day, contributing thoughtful responses to all the ethical discussions and ultimately earning the bronze medal.

The second Macleans College team of Syed Abdullah (Upham), Juan Aljoghul (Rutherford), Katie Kendall (Kupe), Aagneyaa Sudhakar (Rutherford) and Lauren Timmins (Kupe) gained an honourable mention from the adjudicators.
