Fast feet and fierce finishes at Road Race Championships

A team of 11 Macleans College students competed in the Auckland Secondary Schools Road Race Championships at Bruce Pulman Park.

The event drew over 350 students from more than 40 schools. Course distances varied by category: junior girls ran 3km; junior boys, intermediate girls, intermediate boys, and senior girls ran 4km; and senior boys completed 6km.

All Macleans College runners represented the school with exceptional effort and determination.

Special congratulations to Tobias Crowhurst (Te Kanawa House), who won the junior boys race. He delivered a strong finish, overtaking this year’s Junior National Cross Country Champion in the final stretch.
